GUEST BEHAVIOUR POLICY

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all members, guests, visitors, and resort booking groups can enjoy a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment within our facilities. The organisation has a zero-tolerance approach to antisocial behaviour and is committed to protecting the wellbeing, comfort, and enjoyment of all users.

Scope

This policy applies to all members, guests, visitors, contractors, and individuals attending the facility through resort bookings or organised group visits.

Definition of Anti-Social Behaviour

Anti-social behaviour is any conduct that causes harassment, alarm, distress, nuisance, disruption, intimidation, or discomfort to others, or which compromises the safety and enjoyment of the facility.

Examples of anti-social behaviour include, but are not limited to:

Excessive noise and disturbance within the facility, particularly during late evening and overnight periods.

The use, possession, or consumption of illegal drugs within bedrooms, changing facilities, toilets, or any area of the premises.

Activities that may cause nuisance, damage, or disturbance, including putting or chipping golf balls within corridors, accommodation areas, or other inappropriate locations.

Disorderly, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour within leisure facilities, including excessive horseplay, dive-bombing, or actions that place others at risk.

Inappropriate conduct within sauna, steam room, or wellness facilities, including indecent exposure, undertaking dares, disruptive activities, or exercising in a manner inconsistent with the intended use of the facility.

Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or offensive behaviour towards members, guests, visitors, or staff, including sexual comments, inappropriate remarks, unwanted attention, or threatening conduct.

Discussions, solicitation, or arrangements relating to illegal or inappropriate activities, where such behaviour causes offence, discomfort, or concern to others.

Any behaviour that is offensive, discriminatory, abusive, aggressive, unsafe, or likely to bring the facility into disrepute.

Expectations of Conduct

All guests and visitors are expected to:

Treat others with courtesy, dignity, and respect.

Follow all facility rules and staff instructions.

Use all facilities responsibly and safely.

Respect the comfort, privacy, and enjoyment of other members and guests.

Refrain from any behaviour that may cause nuisance, alarm, distress, or offence.

Reporting and Investigation

Any incidents of anti-social behaviour should be reported immediately to a member of staff. All reports will be taken seriously and may be investigated through witness statements, staff observations, CCTV footage, or other available evidence.

Enforcement

Where anti-social behaviour is identified, the organisation reserves the right to take appropriate action, including:

Issuing verbal or written warnings.

Restricting access to certain facilities.

Removing individuals from the premises.

Cancelling bookings.

Suspending or terminating membership privileges.

Reporting criminal or illegal activity to the police or other relevant authorities.

Serious incidents, including harassment, illegal drug use, indecent behaviour, or conduct that threatens the safety and wellbeing of others, may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.

Individuals attending through resort or group bookings will be expected to comply with this policy at all times. Booking organisers may be required to communicate these behavioural expectations to all attendees prior to arrival. Failure to comply with this policy may result in the removal of individuals or entire groups from the premises and the cancellation of future booking privileges.

Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains effective in maintaining a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all facility users.
